This April, geeks will not have to go to a galaxy far, far away to get the ultimate Star Wars experience.

They just need to hyperdrive to McCormick Place for the annual Star Wars Celebration 2019. LucasFilm will put on the event from April 11th – 15th, where Star Wars lovers will be able to experience all things Jedi.

The celebration is the ultimate fan-centric event that launched in 1999 in an effort to help promote Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.

Since then, the event has become a “must” for fans, as the convention presents panels with Star Wars casts and crew, exclusive screenings, signing events and sneak peeks at upcoming projects within the franchise.

It’s hoped, that the title of the highly anticipated Star Wars IX will be revealed here.

Today, the event’s organizers released the poster along with details about the show’s line-up. As you can see, the poster presents a wide array of characters from the films, even ahem, prequel heroes and villains.

While no huge names like Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley or Anthony Daniels has been mentioned, Joonas Suotamo (Chewbacca in Solo: A Star Wars Story and the current Skywalker Saga trilogy) will be there as will Sam Witwer, the voice of Darth Maul in Star Wars Rebels and The Clone Wars.

Greg Grunberg will also attend the show alongside a number of familiar faces from live-action, animated, and video game properties.

The most recent Star Wars Celebration was held in April 2017 in Orlando to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original 1977 film. The event also included a tribute to the late Carrie Fisher and marked Harrison Ford’s first appearance at the convention.

May the force be with you. Or at least tickets to the event, which are available here.
