Recording studio geared for indie creatives

ACTOR/PRODUCER TIRF ALEXIUS has expanded his four-year old Driven Entertainment by opening a 1,100-sq. ft. voiceover, music and ADR recording studio in Albany Park.

The Driven Entertainment Studio, Alexius says, “is geared to independent creative professionals who don’t believe in sacrificing quality for lack of big budgets.” Meaning: Rates will be “very competitive,” starting at $55 an hour.

The control room and video editing suite incorporate ProTools and Adobe Premiere CS4, which allows for Final Cut Pro importing and is equally at home for 5.1 mixing, says Alexius, who engineers with Dan Tegler.
