Ratings are in for Chicago Med, Fire and P.D. premiere

It was a big night in the ratings for Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D.

All three shows left us with cliffhanger endings in the season finale, creating lots of anticipation for the season premiere last night.

One Chicago posted last night’s impressive ratings on Twitter for the “One Chicago Wednesday” premiere episodes of the new season, and followers chimed in supporting their favorite shows.

Chicago Fire brought in the highest views for the night with 7.02 million viewers. Chicago Med at 6.54 viewers, and Chicago P.D. at 6.53 viewers. A few followers posted comments in defense of “their favorite show” Chicago P.D. saying that they believe, due to the late showtime, many people tape the show to watch later.

As for me, there is no competition or clear favorite. Each one has its shining moments that keeps viewers hooked.

The three shows continue to impress with their compelling storylines and authentic, love ’em or hate ’em characters. I believe there was a collective sigh as many of the cliffhangers we were left with in the final episodes of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. last season were resolved in the premiere episodes.
