Radio host Nolen’s film to feature Jazsmin Lewis

Jazmin Lewis stars in “The Good Life”

Jazsmin Lewis (“Barbershop”), platinum-selling R&B singer Ginuwine, and Terri Vaughn (“The Steve Harvey Show”) will star in popular online radio host Christopher Nolen’s drama “The Good Life.”

Nolen first reached out to Lewis on MySpace, and she not only agreed star in the film, but signed on as a producer and brought Ginuwine and Vaughn to the project.

Nolen and producing partner Mark Harris wrote the script with Nolen’s sister, Melinda Nolen.  It’s about a successful married couple who “have great careers, love for each other, and a marriage that seems so healthy and happy,” Nolen says.

“But there’s a secret that lies behind that marriage. You never know how good you have it until you might lose it!”platinum-selling R&B singer Ginuwine

Nolen, of Nferno Productions, and Harris, of 1555 Filmworks, launched the event company Nferno55, and together they’re now producing film, radio, TV, and theater as well as bimonthly parties.

Nolen says he and Harris are covering “The Good Life’s” “substantial” budget through a combination of private investment and self-financing.

He says ongoing talks for theatrical, home video, TV and international distribution are “looking very positive.”

They plan to shoot this summer

Nolen wrote, produced and directed the drama “Subtle Seduction,” and was executive producer of Harris’s drama “Black Butterfly.”

Mark HarrisHarris wrote and directed the thriller “Holla If You Hear Me,” the drama “I Used to Love Her,” and the comedy “Why Men Cheat,” directed the comedy performance films “Cut’n It Up: Chicago” and “Barber Shop Jokes.”

Last year, Nolen and Harris expanded the concept to The Christopher Nolen KIR Radio Show on Blog Talk Radio.

“We talk about relationships, marriage, divorce, love, education, entertainment, sports, dating, etc.,” Nolen says.

“This is a great way for people to vent and also get advice from people for free… Our listeners and followers have grown so rapidly to 150,000-plus.”
