Prysm Studios and MK Films join forces

Post-production
hybrid adds

editorial, and
visual effects savvy
to 50,000 sq.-ft.
Chicago facility

This past summer, Ryan Gilbert opened Prysm Studios in a joint effort with MK Films to offer a full-service production and post-production facility.

MK Films boasts 50,000 square-feet of production space with lighting, cameras, high-speed motion control robot, and now 4K post-production capabilities through the new partnership with Prysm Studios.

Prysm Studios is a hybrid post-production model, designed to expand and collapse for projects big and small, and partners with well-established artists to offer editorial, 2D/3D motion graphics and visual effects. By sourcing from a variety of talent, Prysm Studios is able to bolster its capabilities to offer solutions for every project.

Behind the Prysm
Since its opening, Prysm Studios has formed core partnerships with a handful of highly respected artists in addition to Gilbert, who edits as well as oversees all projects from start to finish.

Most notably on the roster is Greg Sunmark, a well-known editor in the post-production community. In addition to creative editorial, Greg also does sound design and, having experience in AfterEffects and Smoke/Flame, is very comfortable and familiar with compositing and motion graphics.

Also on the roster is Adam Bruno who has eight+ years of experience editing in the ad industry. He has helped tell the stories of brands like Boeing, CenturyLink, Citi Bank, Glade, and Illinois Lottery to name a few.

Jerry has over 13 years of video experience working with agencies and post-houses like Leo Burnett, Optimus, Utopic, Carbon VFX, Arc Worldwide, and Digitas for clients like Nissan, Coke, McDonald’s, United, HP, Whirlpool, Miller, P&G, Fruit of The Loom, Oreo and many others.
