Power Book IV: Force, is coming back to town soon. Season 2 is scheduled to begin filming in Chicago around the end of May.

The majority of filming will take place at Cinespace, with location filming throughout the Chicago area. If production stays on schedule, Season 2 should premiere in February 2023.

STARZ hit a home run with this 3rd installment in the Power franchise. Power Book IV: Force premiered on February 6th, 2022 to record breaking viewership, making it one of the top rated shows for STARZ.

Showrunner, Robert Munic will be stepping down from his post and Gary Lennon will take over as showrunner for this highly anticipated second season. The Force spin-off, is brought to us by Courtney A. Kemp and Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson.

Although there was some obfuscation as to when, or if, the second season of the Chicago based hit show would be renewed, eventually both sides came to an agreement back in early March.

The Power storyline focuses on drug dealer extraordinaire James St. James, also know as his alias ‘Ghost’, as he tries to get out of the criminal underworld in pursuit of legitimizing himself as a nightclub owner; by his side is his best friend and criminal right-hand man, Tommy Egan, who is played by Chicago native, Joseph Sikora.

After the conclusion of the original series, STARZ planned four spin-offs. In Power Book IV: Force, Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) makes his way out of New York with plans to head to Los Angeles, but a quick stop in Chicago turns into a new plan to stay and make a name for himself.
