Power Book IV: Force returns for Season 3

Power Book IV: Force
Joseph Sikora

We all knew it was coming but we’ve been waiting for the official greenlight to report that Power Book IV: Force will return to film in Chicago.

STARZ has announced the series has been picked up for Season 3.

The Force production offices will open at Cinespace on January 8. Filming begins on February 20 through mid-July with a total of 10 episodes for Season 3.

The series is filmed entirely on location in Joseph Sikora’s hometown of Chicago. Sikora who plays Tommy Egan — the guy we simultaneously love and fear — will be back filming on the streets of Chicago, and we have lots of catching up to do.

Season 2 of Power Book IV: Force left us awaiting the fates of several power players. What we do know is that no one is safe.

Tommy successfully orchestrated the grand finale of his long game to take over Chicago’s drug world, but not without devastating personal sacrifices. He found he may have lost more than he stood to gain.

Showrunner Gary Lennon recently shared with Variety, “Season 3 will leave viewers questioning what they thought they knew of Tommy Egan’s universe.”
