After 14 years at the same Elmhurst location, Peter Karl Productions decided to move into the city to be closer to their clients.
As they searched in an ever-widening arc from downtown, they ultimately bought a building at 1743 N. Harlem with the added plus of more than doubling their previous space.
Karl’s new 8,000-sq. ft. headquarters? nearly a $1 million investment?”is a whole new ballgame,” said partner/vice president David Beedy. “It gives us a chance to do things we couldn’t do before.”
Fifteen-year old Peter Karl Productions produces a number of city and police-sponsored TV shows, such as long-running “Crime Watch” that airs on Ch. 5 and various cable outlets. A podcast of the show launched a few weeks ago.
