Tripod Films’ horror feature “Drawing Blood” hits stores Feb. 7 as part of “Mental Maniacs,” a six-film DVD box set in the inaugural release slate from Brain Damage Films’ new Pendulum Pictures label.
“The preliminary word is that we’ll be in Best Buy, Circuit City, all the major retailers,” said producer Shaun Fox.
“Depending on how much buzz ?Drawing Blood’ gets from the ?Mental Maniacs’ release, we still have opportunities for [domestic] single box release.”
International distributor Creative Light is handling worldwide rights. So far they’ve sold Thailand, and they’re taking the picture to the Hong Kong Film Market in March.
