Parker’s horror debut “Inexchange” sold for release in 7 countries; followup “Quench” shoots next year

Zack Parker’s debut feature, the horror picture “Inexchange,” is due for release in seven countries this fall from Tempe, Ariz. video distributor Brain Damage Films and their international sales arm Maxim Media International.

“Inexchange” is expected to hit stores in the United Kingdom and Ireland this month, and will roll out in the next several months in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Italy and Thailand through Maxim, and in the U.S. and Canada through Brain Damage.

Brain Damage has announced a September domestic release date for rentals and online sales, with sales in retail outlets three to four months later.

“It was supposed to be released earlier, but since the majority of our preliminary reviews have been very enthusiastic, they decided to market it a little more, get it into more territories,” Parker said. “In the last month they’ve see up a great sell-through deal that will get it into nearly every major retailer in the U.S.”
