NBC is marking its 100th anniversary with a massive fall push, and The Windy City is right in the middle of the celebration. The network’s new “Our Biggest Fall in 100 Years” campaign puts Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. front and center, reinforcing the One Chicago franchise as one of NBC’s defining pillars heading into the 2026-27 television season.
The centennial promo opens with Chicago Med, as Hannah holds her newborn daughter while Dean stands beside her. “Welcome to the world,” she says before NBC launches into a montage celebrating the network’s scripted series, unscripted programming and sports.
From there, the One Chicago universe remains heavily represented.
The spot includes Imani racing her sister toward the hospital in footage from the Chicago P.D. finale, along with the explosive conclusion of Chicago Fire, where Pascal, Violet and Novak watch a massive blast erupt.
Herrmann’s voice is also heard declaring, “You will always be home,” during footage from his vow renewal with Cindy.
And NBC saves another emotional One Chicago moment for the finish, with Kelly Severide telling Stella Kidd, “We’re in this together,” before the couple kisses. Watch below:
The promo does not contain new footage from the upcoming seasons, but the amount of screen time devoted to the Chicago franchise is significant.
As NBC celebrates a century in broadcasting, the network is effectively placing Med, Fire and P.D. alongside the programming it sees as defining its present-day identity.
That becomes even clearer with the release of new Season 2026 key art for all three shows.

It also represents the number of returning One Chicago characters across the franchise, although not everyone pictured is expected to remain for the entire season.
Chicago Fire features the largest ensemble, with Taylor Kinney as Kelly Severide, Miranda Rae Mayo as Stella Kidd, Brandon Larracuente as Sal Vasquez, Hanako Greensmith as Violet Mikami, Jocelyn Hudon as Lizzie Novak, Dermot Mulroney as Dom Pascal, David Eigenberg as Christopher Herrmann, Christian Stolte as Mouch and Joe Minoso as Joe Cruz.
There are already some bittersweet elements to that lineup.
Mulroney and Minoso are both expected to depart early in Season 15, meaning the new poster could serve as one final piece of key art featuring Pascal and Cruz alongside the rest of Firehouse 51.
One particularly noticeable absence is Da’Vinchi.
The actor joins Chicago Fire as new series regular Marcus Burke, a firefighter candidate expected to join the next generation at 51. Despite filming the new season and being announced well before its premiere, Da’Vinchi does not appear on the initial Season 15 poster.
His omission raises the possibility that NBC may eventually release updated artwork once the early-season departures have played out.
Chicago P.D. enters Season 14 with another major transition ahead.
The new poster includes Jason Beghe as Hank Voight, Marina Squerciati as Kim Burgess, Patrick John Flueger as Adam Ruzek, Benjamin Levy Aguilar as Dante Torres, Arienne Mandi as Eva Imani, Amy Morton as Trudy Platt and LaRoyce Hawkins as Kevin Atwater.
Hawkins’ inclusion is notable because the longtime cast member is expected to leave the series early in the season after 13 years as Atwater.
The poster therefore gives fans one more image of the Intelligence Unit together before another original-era character exits the franchise.
Meanwhile, Chicago Med enters Season 12 with the most stable lineup of the three shows.
Its key art features original stars S. Epatha Merkerson as Sharon Goodwin and Oliver Platt as Dr. Daniel Charles alongside Steven Weber as Dr. Dean Archer, Jessy Schram as Dr. Hannah Asher, Luke Mitchell as Dr. Mitch Ripley, Sarah Ramos as Dr. Caitlin Lenox and Darren Barnet as Dr. John Frost.
Ramos is expected to miss several episodes early in the season while on maternity leave, but unlike Fire and P.D., Med is not currently facing the same level of permanent cast turnover.
Ashlei Sharpe Chestnut as Dr. Naomi Howard and Lorena Diaz as Nurse Doris Perez are among the notable characters absent from the poster.
Taken together, NBC’s anniversary campaign and the new One Chicago key art send a pretty clear message.
The franchise may be entering another period of transition, with veteran characters leaving and new faces arriving, but NBC still sees Chicago as a foundation of its primetime identity.
One hundred years into the network’s history, Firehouse 51, Gaffney Chicago Medical Center and the Intelligence Unit remain very much part of NBC’s future.
Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. return Wednesday, Oct. 7 on NBC.
