Aspiring models get a chance to compete on America’s Next Top Model, when the popular cable show holds its only Chicago-area audition this Saturday, June 18, in Ottawa, 90 miles from Chicago, at Bridal Elegance, 205 W. Etna Road, noon to 4 p.m.

Cycle 18 of the CW network show, created and hosted by supermodel Tyra Banks, begins shooting in October.  During the series, 10 to 15 competitors live under one roof while learning about fashion and modeling.

At the casting call, applicants will walk the bridal store’s runway in their own clothes, so practice your best runway walk.

“The women will model clothes and be videotaped,” said a Bridal Elegance  employee. “This will be their audition tape, which is sent to CW. And from there the producers will narrow their choices for the show.”

Applicants should be females between age 18 and 27, and at or above 5’7” tall, a U.S. citizen in excellent health, who haven’t modeled for a national campaign in the last two years.

Producers seek a variety of articulate, interesting and enthusiastic models, including plus size models.

Bring a completed, signed application to the audition. Click here to download the application.

You’ll also need to bring three photos to the audition: a close-up of your face, a full-length photo of your entire clothed body, and a full-length photo in a swimsuit. One black and white photo is allowed.

Also: bring legible copies U.S. passport and driver’s license, or your social security card and birth certificate.

An elite panel of fashion industry experts evaluates and judges the participants. Each week, one or more candidates are sent home. The last remaining contestant wins the Grand Prize of a highly coveted modeling contract.

The show is produced by 10 by 10 Entertainment in association with Bankable Productions.
