New rep, more business for NoiseFloor’s 10th year

Jamie Vanadia and Corey Coken

Mixer/sound designers Corey Coken and Jamie Vanadia’s NoiseFloor audio post company is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the addition of its first outside rep stretching out into new markets and a record year of business.

The new rep is actually an old friend, Elizabeth Mang of LA, who worked in Chicago for five years repping music companies and other areas of media and entertainment, and has maintained relationships here since moving to California in 2000.

“I really love Chicago because it’s truly an ad town,” she says. “Everyone in the business is excited about great advertising and proud to do it extremely well.”

The Midwest markets Mang will be calling on, like Austin, Dallas,, Detroit, Minneapolis, Denver and Omaha, will be the first out-of-state expansion for the company.

Noise Floor, just wrapping four Spider motor bike spots for Escape Pod, is having its best year ever, notes Coken. “We’ve worked on 40% more spots this year, a big increase over last year.  We finished up nearly 80 spots for one client alone, up from 60 spots last year.”

New business also covers long form, include a short film heading for Slamdance,  and ADR with actor Colin Donnell for the Showtime series, “The Affair.”  Donnell plays the role of Dr. Connor Rhodes on “Chicago Med.”

Noise Floor has a staff of 11 and is located at 308 W. Erie. Mang can be reached at 310/567-6264.
