NBC’s One Chicago franchise premiere episodes introduced several new faces to Chicago Fire, Chicago Med and Chicago P.D. as the three Chicago-filmed dramas began their latest seasons.
The new arrivals include firefighters finding their footing at Firehouse 51, a change in leadership at Gaffney Chicago Medical Center and an FBI agent whose presence could complicate life for Sergeant Hank Voight.
Some of the actors are joining as series regulars, while others are appearing in recurring or guest roles. Here’s a look at the newest additions to the One Chicago lineup.
Chicago Fire welcomes new firefighters
Season 15 introduces Da’Vinchi as Marcus Burke, a new firefighter candidate at Firehouse 51. Burke has been described as a confident, somewhat rebellious newcomer with a dry sense of humor.
Da’Vinchi, known for his work on BMF and All American, joins the series as a regular.
Matthew Daddario also joins Chicago Fire as McCaffrey, another firefighter candidate. Daddario is known for portraying Alec Lightwood on Shadowhunters and for his role in the film Trust.
Carlos Miranda appears as Jacob Morales, an investigative journalist whose interest in a recent structural fire brings him into contact with paramedic Violet Mikami, played by Hanako Greensmith.
Miranda is no stranger to the One Chicago franchise. He previously appeared on Chicago P.D. in 2017, returning this season in an entirely different role.

Chicago Med introduces a new hospital director
Changes at Gaffney Chicago Medical Center bring Rebecca Breeds into the cast as Mallory Sloan, the hospital’s interim director.
Sloan assumes leadership responsibilities while longtime director Sharon Goodwin, played by S. Epatha Merkerson, faces an investigation.
Breeds is known for her starring role as FBI agent Clarice Starling in the CBS series Clarice, as well as appearances in Pretty Little Liars and The Originals.
There’s also an interesting real-life connection behind the casting. Breeds is married to Luke Mitchell, who portrays Dr. Mitch Ripley on Chicago Med. The two actors now share the same television series.
Another newcomer is An-Li Bogan as Dr. Annie Wu, an ambitious medical resident whose approach to patient care may create friction with her colleagues.
Bogan previously appeared in The Unsettling and After Yang. Her new character enters a hospital already dealing with considerable changes in leadership and personal relationships.
Chicago P.D. adds an FBI presence
On Chicago P.D., Kyle Selig joins the cast as FBI Agent Charlie Boyden, who has been assigned to oversee the Intelligence Unit.
Boyden’s arrival introduces another layer of scrutiny for Sergeant Hank Voight, played by Jason Beghe, and his team.
Selig is known for his Broadway work, including originating the role of Aaron Samuels in the musical adaptation of Mean Girls. His television credits include Welcome to Flatch.
The character arrives as the Intelligence Unit faces significant changes during Season 14, including the forthcoming departure of longtime cast member LaRoyce Hawkins, who portrays Officer Kevin Atwater.
One Chicago continues Wednesday nights
The three dramas remain among Chicago’s most established television productions, employing local crews and utilizing locations throughout the city.
Chicago Med airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT, followed by Chicago Fire at 9 p.m. and Chicago P.D. at 10 p.m. on NBC. Episodes are available to stream the following day on Peacock.
