New Blackhawks spots on air in record time

Stanley Cup-winning Chicago Blackhawks hit the ice in five innovative spots, created by Ogilvy & Mather and produced by One at Optimus and Optimus post. The dramatic new campaign captures individual player’s skills and passion while underscoring their commitment to “One Goal.”

Spots featuring Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane and Duncan Keith, are currently airing; two others will be introduced throughout t the season.

“Because of difficulties of professional player availabilities we had one week to shoot and edit these beautifully conceived concepts,” says John Noble, One at Optiums’ EP/managing director.

“The team’s seamless collaboration from shoot through post was instrumental in turning around the project so quickly for agency producer Mike Diedrich and the Ogilvy creative team.”

Working around each player’s schedule and availability constricted the production timeline yet the end result appears anything but rushed.

The spots were created through collaborative between Optimus post and production division, ONE at Optimus that enabled them to direct, cut and finish the spots in seven days.

The team consisted of Optimus executive producer Brian Hrastar and editor Randy Palmer, and ONE at Optimus EP/managing director John Noble and director/DP Jim Matlosz.
