NBC has unveiled its fall premiere plan, setting premiere dates for more than a dozen new and returning series, including the entire slate of Dick Wolf’s franchise shows. Among those shows are the Chicago-produced dramas Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D.
Kicking off over a decade ago, the ONE CHICAGO franchise, co-created by Dick Wolf, has made Chicago proud by showcasing Chicago locations, crews and talent, and by its strong performance among viewers, winning the Wednesday demographic.
Premiere dates for all three shows are all set for Wednesday, Sept. 21. The shows will retain their original time slots, with Chicago Med taking the 7 PM CST slot, followed by Chicago Fire airing at 8 PM CST and Chicago PD at 9 PM CST.

Chicago Fire, which serves as the anchor for each subsequent series, focuses on the trials and tribulations of Firehouse 51 of the Chicago Fire Department. Naturally as first responders, they interact with other public service workers such as the police and lifesaving healthcare professionals, serving as the premise for both spinoff hits Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med.
