NBC releases Fall premiere dates for One Chicago and other shows

NBC has announced its highly anticipated lineup for the Fall 2024 season, showcasing a blend of beloved returning series such as One Chicago and exciting new additions set to debut throughout Premiere Week and beyond.

The season kicks off on Monday, September 23, with the return of the hit competition series The Voice, featuring new celebrity coaches Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé alongside returning favorites Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani.

Immediately following The Voice, viewers can tune in for the premiere of Brilliant Minds, a scripted drama starring Zachary Quinto that promises to delve into the extraordinary life and work of renowned author and physician Oliver Sacks.

Premiere Week continues on Tuesday, September 24, with the highly anticipated season finale of America’s Got Talent, the perennial summer favorite and a ratings juggernaut. The excitement doesn’t stop there, as Wednesday, September 25 marks the return of NBC’s beloved #OneChicago franchise, with new seasons of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. airing back-to-back starting at 8 p.m.

Music enthusiasts can mark their calendars for Thursday, September 26, when NBC and Peacock will broadcast the second annual People’s Choice Country Awards live from Nashville, celebrating the biggest names in country music.

Looking ahead to October, Tuesday, October 1, brings the debut of The Irrational, a sophomore drama starring Jesse L. Martin, followed by the long-awaited returns of Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU on Thursday, October 3, now entering their 24th and 26th seasons respectively. Immediately following these seasoned favorites, viewers can catch Found, starring Shanola Hampton in its second season.

Comedy takes center stage on Friday, October 18, with the premiere of Happy’s Place, starring country music icon Reba McEntire at 8 p.m., followed by the return of Lopez vs. Lopez for its third season at 8:30 p.m.

St. Denis Medical, a new medical drama starring Wendi McLendon-Covey, David Alan Grier, and Allison Tolman and executive produced by Justin Spitzer (Superstore), will open its doors on Tuesday, November 12, with back-to-back episodes. This will be followed by the return of Night Court for its third season on Tuesday, November 19 at 8:30 p.m.

All NBC programming will be available for streaming on Peacock the next day, offering viewers flexibility and convenience to catch up on their favorite shows.

In addition to its entertainment slate, NBC continues to bolster its sports offerings with Big Ten Saturday Night starting on August 31, followed by NBC Sunday Night Football broadcasting 20 regular-season games throughout the NFL season beginning on September 5.
