Mr. Monk cuts a ceremonial ribbon

VETERAN ACTOR TONY SHALHOUB, best known as the title character in the popular “Monk” detective series on TNT, was part of the ribbon-cutting ceremonies that officially opened Milwaukee’s new $6 million RDI studio complex Thursday night.

Shalhoub, a native of Green Bay, will return to Wisconsin in February to star in an indie feature, “Feed the Fish,” that will shoot for about three weeks in Door County. Director is Michael Matzdoor, a features editor best known for “Fight Club.”
