The Mill is thrilled to appoint a new Head of Production and an Executive Producer to further bolster the growing production team at their Chicago studio.

Having proven herself a valuable asset to the company, Hilbert steps in to this new role while continuing to lead, mentor and grow the incredible talent at The Mill Chicago.

In addition to Hilbert’s promotion, The Mill welcomes Executive Producer Blake Nickle.

Nickle arrives from Digital Kitchen where he worked as Executive Producer. At Digital Kitchen Chicago, Nickle had the opportunity to work with brands the likes of Buick, Bose, Amazon and McDonald’s to name a few.

Nickle joins the Executive Producer team and together, they will lead the new business initiatives for the studio and explore new ways of servicing the Midwest market.

Managing Director, Carl Phillips comments “I am absolutely thrilled to see Erica Hilbert take on the Head of Production role and to have her in this key leadership position is very exciting for the Studio. I am also delighted to welcome Blake to the Studio — he has outstanding VFX experience and will be a great addition to our team.”
