The Mill Chicago expands staff by 2 and promotes 3

The Mill Chicago continues to expand its local staff with the addition of a creative director originally from the Mill London and a senior producer and bolster it with three promotions.

The new creative director is Jay Bandlish, originally from the Mill London and Cameron Spencer, who’s enjoyed a 15-year career as a visual effects supervisor. Since arriving in Chicago he’s worked on Energy BBDO’s first spot for LG, “World of Play,” with action movie star Jason Statham, directed by Fredrik Bond, and a State Farm/DDB “Mustangs” spot directed by Jim Jenkins.

Larissa Berringer, new senior producer, joined from six years at Vitamin Pictures, having spent three years each as its executive producer and senior producer. Her credits include campaigns for Kellogg’s, Nike and P&G, and production on cable TV series “Weeds” and “Sons of Anarchy.”

Promotions also went to colorist Luke Morris now the studio’s Head of Color and to Collette Boyle Murray, who has the new position of Talent & Operations Manager, upped from Human Resources.

Last March, London-headquartered The Mill’s staff of around 60 moved into the entire second floor of a new 10 story building at 1K Fulton (1000 W. Fulton Market), aka as the Google Building.
