Message board a sounding board
of expert praise for Grammy audio

Perhaps the only thing richer than the 5.1 Surround Sound of the recent HDTV Grammy awards telecast is the chorus of praise that the shows’ producers have been hearing since the Feb. 23 show aired.

Even before the show was over, industry experts were rushing to their computers to express their appreciation of the show’s first HDTV 5.1 Surround Sound broadcast.

While Broadcast Audio Supervisor Hank Neuberger and producing legend Phil Ramone were too busy balancing audio duties to hit the Internet, by the next day, they were able to see the unanimous verdict of audio pro discussion groups.
