The Museum of Broadcast Communications closes Dec. 30 after 11 years in the Cultural Center in preparation for its move to its own, new 50,000-sq. ft. building at State and Kinzie in 2005. All MBC Web services will continue at www.Museum.TV.
MBC is conducting a capital campaign to raise $15 million for the new building. Four million has been funded, including $1.5 million from the state. MBC was founded in 1987 by broadcaster Bruce Dumont.
