Lozano joins Telemundo as co-anchor, sports reporter

Héctor Lozano, who has worked as a sports anchor and reporter for Spanish-language sports media in Chicago for more than 25 years, has joined  Telemundo Chicago (WSNS) as a sports reporter and co-anchor. It’s freezing here!

“We’re excited to welcome Héctor to the Telemundo Chicago team,” said Diana Maldonado, vp of news at Noticiero Telemundo Chicago told TVSpy who reported the move. “He brings great talent, passion and experience to our dedicated sports department and newsroom. We cannot wait for our viewers to meet him.”

His professional career also includes experience as a radio sports host and game announcer for baseball, basketball, soccer and hockey.

Lozano join the station’s sports team of Rodrigo Arana and Raúl Delgado and will co-anchor Noticiero Telemundo Chicago at 5:00 and 10:00 p.m. His first day on air will be in March, the station said.
