The LIV Golf League returns to Illinois this weekend for the 2025 LIV Golf Chicago, taking place August 8–10 at Bolingbrook Golf Club. This marks the second consecutive year the suburban course has hosted the tournament and the fourth straight year Chicago has been on the LIV schedule.
The event is the final stop of the league’s regular season before next week’s LIV Golf Indianapolis Individual Championship, followed by the season-ending Team Championship in Michigan. Performances in Bolingbrook will determine player standings and team seeding heading into the postseason.
Designed by Arthur Hills, Bolingbrook Golf Club offers a par-71, 7,100-yard layout with rolling fairways, water hazards, and the signature island-green par-3 sixth hole. Players will also contend with the newly designed 621-yard par-5 12th, one of the longest holes on the circuit.
The field features 54 players competing over 54 holes in a no-cut, shotgun start format. They will battle for a $25 million purse, split between the $20 million individual competition and the $5 million team event. The individual winner will take home $4 million, with prize money awarded through the entire field.
Fans can watch on Fox, FS1, and FS2, with live streaming available through the Fox Sports App and platforms such as Fubo. Broadcast coverage begins Friday, August 8, on FS1 from 12–2 p.m. ET, followed by Fox from 2–5 p.m. ET.
LIV Golf’s first Chicago event was held at Rich Harvest Farms in 2022 and 2023 before moving to Bolingbrook in 2024. The venue has been praised for its fan-friendly layout and accessibility, making it a fitting stage for one of the most pivotal events of the LIV season.
