Leo Burnett Chicago welcomes a new creative leader, Mariana O’Kelly, who joins the agency as Executive Vice President/Executive Creative Director.

O’Kelly will be based in the agency’s Chicago headquarters and will report to Britt Nolan, President and Chief Creative officer. She will oversee a creative team of 25 and run the entire Kellogg’s portfolio for Leo Burnett, which the agency first acquired the relationship in 1949.

O’Kelly joins Leo Burnett after a long, successful run at Ogilvy where she earned the ranking of #1 ECD in South Africa and known for hiring more female creatives than any other ECD in the WPP network.

“At Leo Burnett, we look for leaders who aren’t just phenomenal creatives, but also inherently generous. Mariana is a perfect fit,” said Nolan. “I’ve been jealous of her book for years. But more than that, she’s passionate about growing talent and has a reputation for building world-class teams.”
