The Redwalls will play their “Game of Love” song when they appear on the Jay Leno show April 10, on the heels of director Ruth Leitman and producer Leigh Jones’ completion of the music video of the song.
This is the second “Tonight Show” appearance for The Redwalls, a four-piece rock band from Deerfield. They recently appeared on Letterman.
The Leitman-Jones video features Chicago’s own Roller Derby darlings, the female Windy City Rollers, as they slam into video action to tease and taunt this earnest young rock band, which is just trying to play “Game of Love.”
The band plays its song as the gals skate fast, fall hard and try to steal the band’s show.
Leitman has had 20 years experience as a still photographer shooting top music artists and a decade or more as a director of music videos for bands like Black Crowes, Indigo Girls, Outkast and Travis Trittt.
