Laughlin Constable turns office relocation into hilarious holiday card

Laughlin Constable

Laughlin Constable is turning its office relocation after nearly 50 years into a hilarious holiday celebration. With its creative spin on the classic 12 Days of Christmas, the agency’s holiday video card humorously chronicles its history, quirky finds, and decades of unforgettable campaigns.

The playful parody, which is being shared this week at Laughlin.com, offers clients and friends an inside look at the treasures and oddities unearthed during the move.

“Moving offices after so many years is a lot like moving out of a family home. You find things you forgot existed and laugh at the memories tied to them,” said Pat Laughlin, co-chief creative officer at Laughlin Constable. “With the holidays coinciding perfectly, we wanted to invite our clients and associates to join in on the fun—and the chaos.”

Founded in Milwaukee in 1976, Laughlin Constable has been a cornerstone of its city’s Mitchell Building, a historic landmark built in 1876. The agency’s holiday video highlights the building’s charm and the peculiar items discovered within its storied walls. From a mythical Griffin statue missing its head to vintage Miller Beer ads, agency letter jackets, and relics of campaigns that never saw the light of day, the 12 “gifts” are both amusing and nostalgic. Starting in early 2025, Laughlin Constable’s Milwaukee office will relocate to the 22nd floor of The River Center on East Kilbourn Avenue. The move marks a significant step into the future for the agency, which will now have space designed for its collaborative hybrid work environment.

“We’re looking forward to building the next 50 years of our history in a space that reflects who we are today,” said Jon Laughlin, co-chief creative officer. “But this holiday card was the perfect opportunity to honor where we’ve been while sharing some laughs.”

Produced by the agency’s in-house production team, HIVE Content Studio, the video reflects the heart of Laughlin Constable’s creative culture—combining wit, ingenuity, and a deep appreciation for its legacy.
