Laughlin Constable, the independent, full-service agency announced it has been named the creative and media agency of record for QuikTrip, the Tulsa, OK based, $11+ billion national convenience and gasoline retailer with over 1,100 locations across 21 states.
The appointment follows a national competitive agency review that began in Spring 2025 and was managed by Joanne Davis Consulting of New York.
“We were seeking an agency partner who could demonstrate an intimate understanding of our unique culture, our growing customer base, and the diverse markets we serve, while also moving at the fast pace of our business,” said Dawn Deal, QuikTrip’s Director of Marketing. “Laughlin Constable impressed us at every step of the process. Their passion, strategic thinking, creative process, and data-driven approach to media really stood out. They’re the perfect partner for us as we look to seize this next big chapter of growth.”
Founded in 1958, QuikTrip has grown into one of the nation’s most admired convenience store brands, with a reputation for exceptional customer service, clean, well-run stores, and strong community ties. The chain is regularly ranked among the Fortune “Best Companies to Work For” and has built a fiercely loyal customer base in both established and emerging markets spanning the Midwest, South, and Southwest. In recent years, QuikTrip has expanded its QT Kitchens offerings, including quick grab-and-go meals and snacks, while continuing to innovate in the self-serve beverage space.
Laughlin Constable will be tasked with QT’s integrated marketing efforts, including brand and promotional campaign strategies, media planning and buying, and omni-channel creative and production.
“QuikTrip inspired us on every level,” said Anthony Romano, CEO of Laughlin Constable. “They’re a second-generation family-owned business like us, they’re a true ‘culture brand’ creating deeply-rooted devotion in the markets they serve, they’ve set the bar for service excellence in the category, and they’re prepared to level up their food and beverage game to compete for share of ‘food-away-from-home’ occasions in their markets. We can’t wait to get rolling!”
This win represents another big milestone for Laughlin Constable, whose recent accolades over the past 18 months have included winning Ad Age’s Small Agency of the Year, being named to Crain’s Chicago Business and Milwaukee Business Journal’s Best Places to Work, scoring a string of several new creative and media AOR clients, and earning some of the industry’s top awards, like Effies, Clios, and Communications Arts.
