Larry Bird brings the mayhem in hilarious Allstate spot

Legendary NBA player, Larry Bird, has once again showcased his acting skills in a new Allstate commercial that aired during this year’s Oscars broadcast. While the 67-year-old may not be winning any gold statues for his performance, his appearance is sure to bring a smile to the faces of Celtics fans and basketball enthusiasts alike.

In the commercial, created by Allstate’s in-house agency, Bird finds himself facing off against an unseen bird causing chaos in his attic. Portrayed by Dean Winters, known for his role as “Mr. Mayhem,” the troublesome bird prompts Bird to take action. Armed with a lacrosse stick (not the conventional tool for bird control), Bird bravely ventures into the attic to confront the avian intruder.

However, the battle doesn’t go as planned for Bird, as he ends up bumping his head and falling through the floorboards. Despite his athletic prowess, Bird proves to be no match for the mayhem-causing bird. Watch below:
