ki editorial + design signs post business guru Vivian Craig as it gets set for business growth

Postproduction business expert Vivian Craig has joined ki editorial + design as director of account services, a new position for the five-year old company that’s poised for expansion.

ki group partners/editor Anthony Izzo and Paul Kopchak said they are delighted that reuniting with Craig “completes the package of who we are.”

“Vivian is very well known among agencies and the client reaction to her joining us has been very strong and positive,” Izzo said.

Earlier, Craig had been with Red Car for seven years as managing director/executive producer. She is widely credited for building and expanding the Red Car branch from the time it first opened in Chicago.

Craig had spent 15 years as business manager/executive producer at Skyview. Most recently she had been managing director/executive producer at Foundation Post for about two years.

Craig sees her role in ki group’s growth as nurturing continued client relations, developing new marketing strategies and forming strategic alliances for both the editorial and design sides of the company.

She will oversee a healthy mixture of business from a number of client bases?commercials, long-form films, corporate, PR and marketing, some broadcast, and what Izzo called “the new media kind of signage you see at airports.”

ki group has a staff of 15, six are creative editors, three are editorial and design assistants; three are on the design side and three handle business affairs.

Editors are Jeff Schwartz, Alaric Martin, Pete Hendricks newly promoted junior editor Natalya Ryabova and the two partners. Scott Norris is effects director and Cassie Scroggins, formerly with Flux and Somersault, is design director.
