The JCC Chicago Jewish Film Festival proudly announces its film selections for the 2020 festival, running February 28 through March 15.
This year’s lineup features 52 films at seven venues across the city and suburbs: Cinemark Theater in Evanston, CMX CineBistro and CMX Market at Old Orchard in Skokie, CMX Arlington Heights, the Illinois Holocaust Museum in Skokie, the Logan Theater in Logan Square, and the Renaissance Place Cinema in Highland Park.
The 7th Annual JCC Chicago Jewish Film Festival includes an eclectic mix of films from all genres and for all generations, including comedies, dramas, documentaries, a musical and an animated film, totaling more than 90 screenings over three weekends.
Fourteen Midwest Premieres, eleven Chicago Premieres, four U.S. Premieres and one World Premiere are among the highlights of this year’s selections from around the globe.

Insightful, thought-provoking Q &A sessions will follow many of the films, part of the Continue the Conversation series featuring writers, directors, actors and experts on an array of topics of cultural and historical significance.

The Big Schmooze
This year, the JCC Chicago Jewish Film Festival will kick-off with a very special opening night event called, The Big Schmooze: An Evening of Faves, Flashbacks, Film & Family on Thurs., Feb. 27 at CMX CineBistro at Old Orchard in Skokie.
Guests can choose from one of six beloved classic films as we celebrate our love for the movies with the movies we love: Keeping Up with the Steins, E.T., Funny Girl, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, When Harry Met Sally and Stand By Me. Ticket information is available at jccfilmfest.org/bigschmooze.
The JCC Chicago Jewish Film Festival has quickly become one of the country’s largest presenters of Jewish film and is approached regularly by film distributors in the U.S. and around the world to present first look screenings or Chicago premieres throughout the year.
