Jamie Lee Curtis has secured a Creative Arts Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her appearance in The Bear.
The iconic actress was nominated in a highly competitive category that included, Olivia Colman (The Bear), Kaitlin Olson (Hacks), Da’Vine Joy Randolph (Only Murders in the Building), Maya Rudolph (Saturday Night Live) and Kristen Wiig (Saturday Night Live).
Her’ portrayal of Donna, the emotionally complex and volatile mother of Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, brought deep layers of emotion and drama to the show. In her acceptance speech, Curtis said, “Helped people help people, and I think that’s really the strength of The Bear.
