WITH THE 30% TAX INCENTIVE and being named top indie filmmaking city by MovieMaker Magazine, IPA’s short promo film released on YouTube and the IPA site couldn’t be more timely.
“Make Your Movie ? in Illinois,” was produced by IPA’s PR committee chair Grace McPhillips with pro bono production and equipment contributions from more than 50 IPA individual and company members.
It was directed by the incomparable Bob Ebel and shot on the Red One by DP David Kessler. Jason Schettler was associate producer/assistant director.
The performers were Second City mainstay Joe Canale who wrote the script, Chuck Quinn, Susan Messing and voiceover Craig Harris.
