A SILVER PLAQUE FROM INTERCOM was awarded to Rosemont-based National Roofing Foundation’s Disaster Relief Fund, which was established to provide new roofs for Hurricane Katrina and Rita-struck New Orleans.
The 6-minute doc, “The Storm is Passing Over,” was written and directed by NRCA’s Peter Greenbaum, education and training media director, who used mini-DV to shoot roof repairs on a New Orleans church with no insurance to pay for repairs.
