Internationally-experienced Dolan joins Onion, Inc.

THE ONION named award-winning international media producer Michael Dolan as director of strategic brand partnerships.  In his role, Dolan wil lfocus on selling Onion Productions’ comprehensive video production and post-production services. 

Dolan reports to Kristine Desrochers. VP/strategic partnerships.  Prior to joining Onion, Inc., he had been Bridges Media’s global business director for two years.

Multi-lingual Dolan’s international experience derives from four years as executive producer/marketing consultant at Albert Lan Design in Taipei, Taiwan, where he worked to build a marketing team in cities around the world.

HOLLYWOOD IN CHICAGO THIS WEEK. “An evening with Chazz Palminteri,” (“A Bronx Tale”) Thursday, June 9 is being hosted by Perillo Rolls Royce at The Joynt, 440 N. State, 6-9 p.m. The evening also will introduce BIVI Sicilian vodka. Details here.

On June 11, actor Ethan Hawke, who has added author to his credits that also include screenwriter and director, will talk about “Indeh,” his latest graphic novel, co-written with Greg Ruth, a New York Times best-selling author and illustrator.

FREE SPIRIT MEDIA’S FOCUS 15th Anniversary June 2 raised more than $100,000 to benefit the non-profit youth organization’s video production, storytelling and journalism programs. Held at Free Spirit Media’s offices in the historic Sears Tower, the fundraiser welcomed nearly 100 attendees, 60 Host committee members and 35 sponsors.
