Insperity’s solution for seeing employees as numbers

We’ve all been there. Whether we’re at our local coffee shop or Tinder dating, we have all felt like numbers at one time or another.

Especially at work.

Insperity, the Texas-based HR solutions company wants to put an end to that. Working with award-winning AOR gyro Chicago/Denver, the company has launched an extended digital version of their 30-second spot “Muffin.”

Directed by Them Productions’ Barney Cokeliss, the spot features a day in the life of typical employees going about their workday, with one disruptive exception: they are portrayed as anthropomorphic numbers.

This metaphor brings to life the challenges businesses face when people are treated like numbers and highlights the human element of work and business that is often overlooked in today’s high-pressured, productivity-focused economy. Both end with the line, “People aren’t numbers, but they are the number one way you build success.” Watch below:

“When you run a business, it’s all too easy to focus on the numbers and lose sight of the people you need to succeed. That’s where Insperity come in,” said Doug Kamp, Executive Creative Director, gyro Chicago/Denver said to Reel Chicago.

He added, “Insperity doesn’t just talk about the value of people, their culture embodies it. We couldn’t be more excited about this new campaign and look forward to a continued partnership with such a brave team and brand.”

A second spot, “Architect,” carries similar themes surrounding the difficulties of running your own business. 30-second versions of both spots are currently running on the Golf Channel.

Neil Brown, Insperity Creative Director, continued, “gyro was able to communicate, in 30-brief seconds, who Insperity is and what we do. But their ability to capture our ‘why’ is what really takes these spots to a whole other level. These new TV spots clearly communicate Insperity’s mission to our target audience: business owners who want to take care of their employees.”

The campaign can be currently seen on The Golf Channel.
