New York-based Tribeca Enterprises, the strategic partner in Chicago’s Tribeca Flashpoint Academy of the Media Arts, is the honoree at the Independent Feature Project’s fourth annual Film Gala Sept. 24 at Excalibur.
Representing Tribeca at the Gala will be producer Jane Rosenthal and her husband, Craig Hatkoff, who with Robert DeNiro founded global media company Tribeca Enterprises in 2003.
IFP Gala chairman Colleen O’Neill says the committee expects 400 guests from the local indie community, along with many local independent filmmakers. Proceeds go to fund IFP/Chicago programs and services throughout the year.
The evening starts at 6 p.m. with a VIP, invitation-only sold-out VIP reception hosted by the honorees. The gala officially kicks off at 6:45 p.m. with an evening of drinks, food, networking and dancing.
