IFP Chicago’s new associate board is proud to announce that their first annual fundraiser will be hosted by Lagunitas at the Lagunitas brewery facility near Cinespace Studios at 2607 W 17th St. on September 30, 2019.

“We’re especially proud of the ‘experiential’ silent auction prizes we’re offering,” says associate board chair Sam George. “You can bid on a private lunch with Illinois Film Office Director Peter Hawley, Chicago Film Office Director Kwame Amoaku, or Cinespace Chicago President Alex Pissios!”

Lunch with Alex Pissios even includes a walking tour of the second largest film studio in the US.

Other auction offerings include a wine tour and tasting from City Winery, rock climbing lessons from First Ascent, color correction services from Periscope Post & Audio, a membership to Music Box Theatre, a membership to the Chicago Humanities Festival, and gift baskets from Pleasure Chest and CBD Kratom.

The event will run from 5:30 to 8:30 pm and will include bites from various Chicago restaurants, live Chicago film-themed improv, and of course Lagunitas beer.

“We’re very pleased with the efforts of our associate board in putting together what we expect to be our most successful fundraiser to-date — and the first ever to feature live entertainment!” exclaims Development Committee Chair Chris Johnson.

Since the event is being held at a brewery, attendees must be 21 or over. For tickets and additional information, click here.
