IFA Chicago’s Executive Talks event series, is hosting Chicago-native, award-winning television director, producer, and writer, Daniel Willis in a virtual conversation moderated by IFA Chicago Executive Director, Angie Gaffney.
Daniel Willis’ directing credits include Freeform/Hulu’s Cruel Summer, ABC’s The Rookie, NBC’s The Blacklist, and ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy. He also recently served as producer/writer for the Lena Waithe produced comedy series Twenties.
“IFA’s Executive Talks series brings accomplished, diverse voices to the table, providing access to the local Chicago filmmaking community through intimate conversations. We are especially delighted and honored to have Dan Willis speak, a fellow colleague and a DePaul University graduate,” said Angie Gaffney, IFA Chicago Executive Director.
Executive Talks is an IFA Chicago quarterly series of intimate conversations with nationally-known, independent filmmakers, producers, and entrepreneurs. Past Executive Talks have hosted filmmakers such as Oscar-nominated producer Diane Quon, Oscar-nominated producer Peter Saraf, award-winning writer, director & producer George Tillman Jr., and award-winning writer, director & actress Kris Rey.
