Hulu reveals Deli Boys teaser trailer and premiere date

The much anticipated Chicago-made comedy series, Deli Boys, is set to premiere on Hulu on March 6, 2025.

Filmed in Chicago from January to April 2024, the show follows two Pakistani American brothers whose lives are upended after the unexpected death of their father reveals his secret criminal enterprise. As they grapple with this revelation, they attempt to navigate and take over his underworld operations.

The series features a talented cast, including Asif Ali as Mir Dar, Saagar Shaikh as Raj Dar, Poorna Jagannathan as Lucky, Alfie Fuller as Prairie, and Brian George as Ahmad.

Deli Boys was created by Abdullah Saeed and developed in collaboration with executive producers Jenni Konner and Nora Silver. Michelle Nader is the showrunner.


Asif Ali, who portrays Mir Dar, the diligent and ambitious brother eager to prove himself, is an American actor and comedian known for his versatile performances across television and film. He has appeared in popular series such as WandaVision, New Girl, Shrinking, The Mandalorian, and the film Don’t Worry Darling. His comedic talents have made him a notable figure in the entertainment industry.

Saagar Shaikh who plays Raj Dar, the more laid-back brother, content with a leisurely lifestyle, is an American actor and filmmaker who has gained recognition for his work in both television and film. He is known for his role in the Marvel series Ms. Marvel, where he portrayed Aamir Khan, the protagonist’s older brother. His portrayal of complex characters has garnered critical acclaim and a growing fan base.

Although the series is set in Philadelphia, the production filmed in various Chicago locations to represent the setting. Filming locations included Essence of India in Lincoln Square, Devon Avenue in Rogers Park, and a private residence in Oak Park. Additionally, scenes were shot at 2330 W Wilson Avenue and in the McKinley Park neighborhood.

Deli Boys will be available for streaming on Hulu in the United States starting March 6, 2025, and on Disney+ in other regions.
