Chicago woman-owned post house Hootenanny has a new creative editor on their roster. Adam Bruno comes to Hootenanny after a decade of freelance editing for many of Chicago’s post houses and ad agencies.

Most recently, he worked full-time as a staff editor at a local Chicago agency. He has diverse experience collaborating with both large and small clients such as Burger King, Cars.com, John Deere and Cleveland Clinic, to name a few.

Bruno looks forward to applying his unique skillset and professional values to the new opportunities that Hootenanny will offer. “As a freelancer, I enjoyed being a reliable asset to my circle of clients. If stakes were high and timelines were quick, they knew they could call me and not have to worry,” he states. “I’m excited to be at Hootenanny so I can offer that same service to a larger network.”

“We’ve known Adam since the start of his post career,” states Hootenanny owner Liz Tate. “Adam has such a great blend of technical and creative expertise. We feel so fortunate to be able to bring him on staff and introduce him to our clients.”

Outside of his professional life, Bruno is a devoted dad and husband, cigar connoisseur, and an avid skateboarder – which is what initially led him to pursue a career in filmmaking and video editing.
