It is confirmed that Season 2 of the mind-bending thriller, Dark Matter will return to film in Chicago.
In Season 1, Jason Dessen (Joel Edgerton), a physicist, professor and family man who — one night while walking home on the streets of Chicago — is abducted into an alternate version of his life. Wonder quickly turns to nightmare when he tries to return to his reality amid the mind-bending landscape of lives he could have lived. Monster: The Ed Gein Story – Netflix Limited Series
Monster Season 3 will be filming in Chicago for a few days on October 25 – 27.
Each season of Monster is centered on a different real-life killer who made headlines. Season 3 focuses on notorious serial killer Ed Gein, who also hailed from Wisconsin like Jeffrey Dahmer, became infamous in the 1950s when authorities discovered that he not only had killed multiple people, but had dug up graves from a cemetery near his home and fashioned all manner of household items and clothing from human remains.
