Heinz Ketchup celebrated superfans in a fun and unique way by creating a one-of-a-kind ketchup packet suit jacket for Heinz Le, a longtime devotee of the brand who wore it for his wedding.
Le, nicknamed “Heinz Ketchup” since the 8th grade, sent an invitation to Heinz for his wedding ot bride Michelle, knowing that the brand had been a part of his life for years. True to their commitment to fans, Heinz responded enthusiastically, designing a special suit jacket that allowed Heinz Le to wear his love for the brand in a literal sense on his big day.
Working in collaboration with The Kitchen, Heinz tapped into the talents of Chicago-based condiment artist Ethan Chan to craft this custom piece, made from around 1,000 ketchup packets and weighing over 30 pounds. The jacket is not only a nod to Le’s lifelong love of Heinz but also serves as a celebration of the brand’s creative engagement with its fans. Look below:
Beyond the custom jacket for Heinz Le, Heinz is extending this creative project to the public by releasing a limited number of these ketchup packet jackets. Fans interested in getting their hands on one of these unique garments can stay tuned to Heinz’s Instagram (@Heinz) for details on how they can snag this special edition item.
This campaign highlights the brand’s playful and interactive approach, showcasing not just their product but also the enthusiasm and passion of their fans.
