Grubhub enlists Snoop Dogg to deliver new campaign

Today, Grubhub, one of the leading food-ordering and delivery platforms in the United States, is launching its new marketing platform, “Did Somebody Say.” This brand platform is designed to celebrate that special and feel-good moment when your Grubhub order arrives at your doorstep.

The launch of “Did Somebody Say” includes a comprehensive omnichannel campaign featuring a 60-second TV spot with an original song performed by the iconic rapper, entrepreneur, food enthusiast, and cookbook author, Snoop Dogg.

Conceived by the creative agency McCann London and produced by their production arm, Craft Worldwide”Did Somebody Say” comes to life in a new TV commercial featuring Snoop Dogg, who delivers an original, head-bobbing song that provides a taste of his own Grubhub delivery delights. I

In Snoop’s words, “Music is a part of my heart and soul, and my love for food delivery goes right along with it because when you’re as busy as me, you gotta stay fueled with good food. Whether it’s chicken wings to the crib or a hot tub soak with a pizza slice on the side, when you hear ‘Did Somebody Say,’ you know Grubhub delivers what you want, when you want.” Watch below:

Since its initial launch in 2020 by Grubhub’s parent company, Just Eat Takeaway.com (JET), the campaign has achieved global market success. It has been featured in over 19 markets across Europe, Canada, and Australia and has garnered more than 1 billion views. The vibrant TV spot marks the beginning of an extensive campaign effort in the United States, with a presence across paid and organic social media, in-product placements, out-of-home creative ads, consumer sweepstakes, and more.

Grubhub is inviting its customers to participate in the #DidSomebodySayGrubhub sweepstakes by tuning in to its social channels. The sweepstakes will run from Thursday, September 28, to Monday, October 2, and will feature several giveaways inspired by the TV spot. Lucky winners will receive a $500 gift card to order their favorite dishes, whether it’s pizza, a hot tub soak, or wontons on a catamaran – ensuring they get delivery like a true “G.”
