Global Video added high definition capability to its menu of video duplication services. They include monitoring and broadcast quality down-conversion from HD to any standard definition videotape formats in either PAL or NTSC.
HD tapes can be cross-converted between various interlaced and progressive formats, and between 1080i and 720p, and duplicated. With newly-created HD programming, tapes can be up-converted to any HD format for near seamless editing of legacy SD materials.
Other Global Video capabilities are HDVcam, DVC PRO-HD, D-5 and HDV; video dailies services of digitizing HD and SD camera footage for editing in either Final Cut, Premier or Avid systems.
