Chicago is the location for one of the executive jury sessions of the 2023 Gerety Awards with Myra Nussbaum, President & CCO, Havas Chicago as the Ambassador and jury president.
The locations for the 5th season of the Gerety Awards are London, Chicago, Dubai, Mumbai, Berlin, Bucharest, AUNZ, Madrid, Bogota, and Stockholm. As well as defining the shortlist the executive jury sessions each select the agency and production company of the year from their country. This is chosen from the entrants of the Portfolio Cut.
New for 2023: entrants will be able to submit entries for Strategy as well as Emerging Commerce into any of the Gerety cuts for Communication, Media, Innovation, B2B, Health, Pharma, Works for Good, Entertainment, Experience and Humour.
Entries celebrating strategy will show creative examples of the customer journey and strategic planning that redefined a brand or product.
Emerging commerce will show new channels that organically use the Metaverse, NFTs, Blockchain, AI, AR and other advanced technologies and tools to seamlessly support the development of a brand, product or service.
Chicago Ambassador, Myra Nussbaum says: “When my son was 10 years old he asked me if it was true that my grandmother couldn’t vote when she turned 18. When I confirmed that sad fact his little mind was blown. He couldn’t imagine a world where women didn’t have equal rights and pay. As he’s gotten older, he’s seen the struggles gender creates and is as passionate as I am about equality. The Gerety Awards is a palpable way for our industry to close the gap in creative jury rooms around the world and I’m honored to play my part in it.”
