Geletka+ welcomes Christina Downey as managing director

Christina Downey

Geletka+, Chicago’s fast-growing creative collaboration agency located in the West Loop, today announced the addition of Christina Downey who joins the business as Managing Director. Christina will oversee strategy and operations at the agency.

“An agency is only as good as its people and its work,” said John Geletka, founder and Chief Experience Officer at Geletka+. “And we’re doubling down on the people. Christina brings an amazing perspective from both the agency and brand side of the business. Plus she’s one of the best brand strategists I’ve worked with.”

Christina’s career has spanned across the client and agency side — and all over the world. She’s led marketing for Carbone Fine Foods and milkadamia, served as global brand manager at Abbott and held VP roles at some of the top agencies in the world including Foote, Cone & Belding where she helped bring to market some of the most loved campaigns for Gatorade and Fila.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with John and the Geletka+ team over the past several years,” said Downey. “And I’ve always been impressed with not only their ability to develop smart, creative and break-through ideas, but how they do it together with their clients. I am thrilled to be a part of this team.”

Christina joins Geletka+ leadership at a pivotal time with recent agency wins in CPG, automotive technology, artificial intelligence, web3 and logistics.

“Our ability to serve clients, deliver great creative and get results is better than ever,” said Geletka. “ We literally have a CMO leading strategy, a performance marketing lead who defined the space, an award winning creative team, and a product team who can design and build real applications. There’s never been a better time to be in this business.”
