Gary Sinise narrates Honor Flight Video

Don Pogany and Arturo Cubacub had the honor of taping World War II veterans aboard an Honor Flight to Washington, D.C., for the soldiers’ first visit to the World War II Memorial.

Pogany, a former DDB creative director who runs Sticky: The Idea Agency, was approached by a friend, who volunteers for Honor Flight, to tape the upcoming event.

When he asked Arturo, of I-Cubed Productions, to shoot and edit, pro bono, Arturo said he jumped at the chance.

The Southwest Airlines flight was one of six that will be made this year. The Chicago flights are arranged in Chicago by the Honor Flight organization, which spends $35,000 per trip.

“We thought this would be a great story to tell,” he says, “and it was truly amazing.”
