Cramer-Krasselt is announcing that creative leader G. Andrew Meyer has joined the agency as its new Executive Creative Director.
The role will see him work across the accounts, including Corona, Porsche, Edward Jones and Tropicana, as well as collaborate across business units within the agency.
Meyer joins Cramer-Krasselt from Facebook where he has served for almost seven years as Creative Lead, Global Marketing at Facebook/Instagram. Meyer has previous experience working at C-K as a Group Creative Director from 2007 to 2012.
“I’m thrilled to return to C-K with a host of incredible experiences to draw from,” said Meyer. “C-K is an agile, independent, multi-disciplinary agency, able to do what’s best without bias. With the talent assembled, great clients, and a collaborative culture, we’re going to have a lot of fun making creatively excellent, memorable, and hard-working work.”
Meyer returns to Cramer-Krasselt’s Chicago headquarters with more than 20 years of experience. Prior to his position at Facebook he was with Leo Burnett as executive creative director for award-winning work on Altoids, Cadillac, Maytag, Morgan Stanley, Samsung and others. In his past role at C-K, he famously penned “Find your beach” for Corona.
“Andrew is a rare talent who can meld creativity and innovation into effective storytelling for brands,” said Karen Seamen, president and chief operating officer at C-K. “With his vast experiences at Facebook and Instagram, working with creative agencies, media partners and inhouse marketing teams, he brings a unique and valuable perspective on what’s happening in the digital space today and the industry as a whole. We are truly thrilled to welcome Andrew back to C-K.”
Meyer is the recipient of numerous industry awards, including Cannes Lions, Effie Awards, One Show Pencils, Clio Awards and others. He is also active in the industry and has spoken at events such as Social Media Week and Cannes.
