FX pilot ‘Me, We’ sets up production office at Cinespace

FX returns to film a pilot in Chicago, following the successful first season of their award-winning series The Bear.

The FX pilot Me, We has setup their production office at Cinespace Studios. Filming begins Sunday, April 16 at an elementary school on the West Side, and they will be spotted around town at various South Side locations for about 7 filming days.

There are not a lot of details about the storyline, but there is an impressive group heading up the show.

Actor, writer, producer Rob McElhenney who co-created and starred in the FX series Always Sunny in Philadelphia has teamed with writer, producer Keyonna Taylor (Always Sunny in Philadelphia), producers Jackie Cohn (Severance), Nick Frenkel and Jermaine Johnson (Always Sunny in Philadelphia).

Me, We director is Nzingha Stewart (Daisy Jones & The Six, Inventing Anna, Little Fires Everywhere).

Chicago’s Dana Scott is the Line Producer. Chicago casting directors Mickie Paskal and Jennifer Rudnicke of Paskal Rudnicke Casting, who are also the casting directors on The Bear, join casting director AJ Links to cast the pilot.
